Our Happily Ever After-Love, The Six Sisters

Hey you, it's been a while.

You deserve an explanation for our 15-month period of silence, but, regrettably, it is one we cannot give you. Our work has become classified, and we are under oath to keep it that way. Additionally, our experiences these past few years have given the government reason to relocate us, and put us under protection. While we have sacrificed some of our freedoms, we do not regret any of our actions. Once parentless and miserable, we are now joyful and loved, reunited with our parents again, and looking forward to what's ahead. We've even welcomed a few new family members in our lives, but once again, I cannot go into detail.

We thank you for keeping an eye out for updates on our journey, and allowing us to express our frustrations and triumphs at all levels of our journey. We've experienced many adventures, and have more ahead, just like you.  Never forget to make adventure a part of your life. It's present more than you may think.

With love,

The Dachmen Sisters (& Co.)

A Mission Catastrophe - Kailey

Rikki and I walked for what seemed like forever until we came to another metal door.

"I swear if this is another test..." Rikki mumbled.

"Same." I replied with an annoyed tone in my voice. I reached forward and pushed open the door. "Let the torture commence." I started to walk through the door but stopped dead. A boy that looked to be about a year older than me sat in the command chair, staring back at me. Rikki walked into the room and stood beside me.

"Um, sorry but the icecream truck is that way." She hooked a thumb over her shoulder and nudged her head in the direction of the door. I had to stifle a giggle.

I could see why she would say that. The boy had a young look about him. His boyish facial appearance was soft, but his jaw was firm and his eyes were jet blue. His hair was sandy blonde and fanned his forehead. In all honesty, he was stunning. "What are you doing here?" I asked as I took a step toward him.

"Oh, my bad." He said in a silky voice. "I'm Luke. I was told I would be helping you two with this mission. I've been specially trained for this sort of thing." He pinned me with his deep blue gaze.

Oh shoot. I'm a goner. I swallowed and stood straighter. I would not be swayed by his stare. "Well, instead of lying around, show us what to do." I waved my hand at all the gadgets on the walls.

"Yeah, and when you're finished, you can leave." Rikki spat as she walked around the room, examining everything. She must have been frustrated. Of course she would be. She had been tested in a most frustrating area, she had been dragged halfway across the world to work as an agent, and she was only what, sixteen? She deserved a normal life. She should be a girl that could only imagine getting her driver's license, but instead, she got a trip to several foreign countries searching for her kidnapped parents. I felt like crying.

"Ok," Luke's voice snapped me out of my thoughts. "These are the video screens where we will be over seeing the mission that your sisters and my brother will be embarking on. We will watch," he reached over the counter and grabbed several voice speakers. "And we will listen to the mission as they try to figure everything out that they can. We have to be very careful not to blow their cover or ours. The rest of these gadgets," he motioned to everything else on the walls. "Are for later use and you will learn how to use them later. For now, all you need to know about is the voice speakers and the video screens."

My mind felt like it was about to explode.

"Please repeat everything you just said because I may or may not have been listening." Rikki crossed her arms and raised her eyebrows expectantly. Leave it to Rikki to be sarcastic. She just wasn't used to not being in control of the situation.

"Huh," Luke sighed and turned around. "Just ask your sister. She can explain." He turned back around and looked dead at me. "You're Kailey, right?"

"Uh, yeah." I stuttered. Gosh, I was acting like a love sick puppy.

"Please explain everything to... Rikki? Right?" He looked at her questioningly.

"Yup. That's my name." She said with a scowl darkening her face.

"Perfect. I need to speak with your uncle. Please excuse me." Luke turned and walked out the door.

As soon as he was gone, I turned to Rikki. "Rikki, you need to stop. You're pressuring him and making him feel like he doesn't deserve to work here. He's on orders to be here and I get the feeling he doesn't intend to leave. Just give him a chance."

Rikki whipped around to look at me. "You're turning on me? For someone you literally just met?!" Her face was smoldering and a look of anger burned in her eyes.

"No! Rikki, that isn't what I meant!"

"Then what did you mean?" She stilled looked furious.

"I only meant that I think you should give him a chance just like you gave Keely a chance. Just try. Please?" I gave her a pleading look.

Rikki sighed and sat down in the chair. She then turned away from me. "Whatever." She grunted.

I groaned and sat down in the other chair. This was going to be a long mission, and it already felt impossible.

Wish me luck.

                            Love, Kailey

The Clock is Ticking- Love, Bailey

The countdown is 2 weeks and 4 days until takeoff, aka the start of our mission. Codenames were given. Mine being Phoenix and Alex's being Sparrow. Still a little jealous of her, but I'll learn to deal with it. Rikki and Kailey are being joined on this mission too. They will be part of the tech support leading us through the mission and it will serve as part of their training for their personal mission. Uncle Callan has set up a simulator for Alex and I to practice on. It is comforting to know I have trusted family on the other line to help when needed.
Alex has taught me the basics of French, so now we need not attend that class anymore. Our classes now consist of live-action role playing, makeup workshop, Krav Maga, and history lessons on the hotel, its blueprints, and the guests staying there. So much to learn in so little time. Although makeup has kind of been my thing, this kind of makeup is so much more difficult. I never use makeup to disguise myself and this new usage of it is strange for me. Alex and I are getting the hang of it though. It's very interesting to see the results. You could hardly recognize us.
Alex and I had just finished classes and were on a break. Uncle Callan ran into us and said, "Hey girls, I know you're on break, but there are some people I'd like you to meet. Here is Clark, he is 15." Callan pointed to a tall boy with average length brown hair casually laying whatever way it wanted to. Clark had piercing gray eyes that seemed brooding and almost angry. He was carrying a folder that contained drawings and maps of the hotel. "Do you like to draw", Alex asked.
"Yeah."
Alex was a little struck at his cold reception, "Um, cool."
Standing next to Callan was the second boy. "This here is Nick. He is 14. Both of these boys and one other have been here for 2 years. They were specially trained and have no history other than any normal life. They came to us with the idea of finding you six sisters and training you. Apparently, they knew you before any of this." This Nick kid had lightly ruffled chestnut brown hair that waved a little. His eyes were a stormy gray blue and he was built like no other. He was broad shouldered and had a narrow waist, well tanned. He was quite tall and had a mischievous glint in his eye. Not going to lie, he was woah. Holy crap he is woah, woah, woah. As I stood there dumbstruck, I realized I recognized them. I had seen them on my way into the facility a while back when I first came. When that thought came to me, Alex spoke, "Who is the third boy?"
"He is working on a mission with Rikki and Kailey. You will meet him later. His name is Luke and he is 14 also. Here's a visual.", Uncle Callan explained showing a picture. It showed a tall boy with sandy blonde hair. Really well built with a kind look. Even from a distance you could see his blue eyes standing out. Man, who is this family and how do they spawn such good-looking kids.
Now it's time to get down to business. I turned to Nick and Clark nodding to them to let them to follow me to where the simulator was. Nick whispered something to Clark and they both laughed. "What", Alex asked.
"Nothing you need to know", Callan and Nick both said.
So that's how it was going to be. Looks like this is going to be ~fun~ mission with 2 little moody-bums. Alex will update you on the progress we've made soon.
                                                          Love,
                                                                     Bailey

38 Island -Rikki

Kailey and I finally finished putting together a few bugs when Jamal walks in.
"Are you done with all 674 bugs? Please tell me yes."

I scrunched my face in frustration. "Two untrained girls canNOT make a million bugs!"

Jamal laughed. "It's not a million, it's 674. A million is unreasonable."

Kailey laid her head on the desk and mumbled, "I don't want to do this anymore. I want to spend time with my sisters and parents. We are finally together and I am stuck her making bugs."
Jamal glared at her. His mouth moved as if he was about to speak, but I threw my box of wires on the ground to cut him off.

"Rikki, I know that this is not what you-" Jamal tried to say, but Kailey threw her box down too.

"Girls! Just make the bugs and you can leave! Is it really that hard? You girls went through worse"

"Jamal, I know we went through worse, but I'm done. We've been through enough already. Please- please just stop." Kailey whispered in a tired voice.
Jamal turned around and ran his fingers through his hair.  "Fine. Follow me. If you guys don't want this, then I'll give you girls something else." He walked away quickly, and we followed him.

We followed him down a long hallway, passing Bailey and Alex along the way. Then we arrived at uncle Callan's office. Jamal opened the door, and Kailey and I found two seats to sit in.

Uncle Callan smiled at us and asked "What took you so long? I guess you both have your mother's persistence."

Kailey quickly replied saying "What- what do you mean?"

"Oh, that whole bug thing was a test. There is NO way you guys can make bugs without having any tech training. I thought you guys would stand up to Jamal a lot sooner. Your mother would do the same thing. Try and try again till you get it right."

I was somehow angry. We spent multiple days sitting at a desk trying to make impossible bugs. My head nearly exploded during that time.
"Okay, well now that I know that all that time was wasted, what do we do know?" I questioned with an irritated attitude.
"The mission we are giving you requires quit a bit of training. For this mission, you will be trained a lot in martial arts, simple computer hacking skills, agility, mountain climbing, basics in the language of 'Norn', swimming, and fishing. This will all take months and months."
Kailey and I both sat in silence. Where could this be? What are we even doing?

Kailey finally spoke, "What is the mission?"

"MON has a big workshop where he keeps a lot of important weaponry and projects being constructed. This place is a jewel on MON's crown. We need to be able to take it down. And he knows that. He has this place highly guarded. It's gonna take a lot of work to even get close to it. And it won't just be you two going in. We are sending in a few people later on to help you, but you won't meet them yet."

"So where are we going? Where is this "jewel"?" I asked.

"It's an island called Foula. I think that you've been there before. Remember the island that you an your sisters crashed on, the one where you found your parents? That's the one."

"Foula? Never heard of it. Is it a real island?" Asked Kailey.

"Yes it's a real island. It's in the Atlantic ocean, 20 miles west of Walls in Shetland. The island is about 2.5 miles by 3.5 miles, with a low-lying coastal strip along the east side. It rises from low broken cliffs to high peaks rising to 1371 feet."

"That's a really small island. How does MON fit all these plans there? And are there people?" I asked.

"Yes, it's very small. But MON fits it all. We are pretty sure he even goes underneath the water, and one of your jobs is to find out if he does. With a disguise of course. And yes, there are people. 38 local inhabitants."
38 people? What the heck?
"This'll be fun." Kailey mumbled under her breath.

"We start training first thing in the morning. It will take approximately 6 months. So take the rest of the afternoon off." Uncle Callan said while walking out of the room. He walked quickly down the hall, and disappeared around the corner.

"Finally something fun." I whispered to Kailey.
"Tell me about it," she said, smiling. "But I'm kinda scared at the same time."
"Don't worry about it. I'm sure we will be fine. We always are."

Charessa Ramblings-xoxo, Alex

"Alex, your nose looks...fantaaastic," said my mother dear. Something about the way she drew out her last word told me she wasn't being completely honest. A glance in the mirror confirmed my suspicion.

I ripped by nose off in frustration. Well, the outer layer. The layer of wax added to make me look more Greek than I really am (According to all my research, I am 2% Greek). My make-up specialist made an attempt at consolation: "You're getting better! It won't be long before it feels-(and looks, I thought to myself)- more natural."

That was after three weeks of make-up training. I get half an hour a day. When you're a teenage Irish/German girl trying to look like a 20-year-old Greek woman, make-up is a necessity. Unfortunately, I wasn't born with mad make-up skills like Bailey. But once we really go undercover pretty soon here, I'll have to fluent in the art of make-up. And the art of pretending to be someone I'm not. But thanks to my love for acting, that didn't come as hard.

Self-defense classes come after my make-up lessons in order to help me learn how to fight while sweating under 3 layers of make-up and expensive clothes. Things get a little interesting. I also have to be sure to shout and grunt in a Greek accent. My Greek lesson are in the morning, right before lunch. At lunch, my sisters and I all have to act and speak like our characters as part of training. We're getting better. Before Greek lessons come my tech lessons. Having been off the grid, or so to speak, for a few years, I had a lot to learn. But I'm getting better.

Dinnertime is always family time. As well as be-yourself-and-not-your-character time. We eat, play games, watch movies, play in the gym, talk, bake-anything we might have down at home around that time. We just don't get outside as much. It took me a few weeks to realize our building is underground. I can see why-security is important when you're a spy facility-but I miss being able to go outside whenever I want. We get about an hour a day at this point. Fortunately, it won't be long before I'm out and about fighting crime as Charessa.

Only a few weeks until Bailey-excuse me, Cassondria-leave. We're set to head out mid-July. It feels like a fantasy, but so have the last few years of my life. I'm excited for this adventure.

And, okay-maybe a little nervous, too.

Much love,
Alex

Death by Technology

Day 1:
"No!!" I screamed, and threw my keyboard down on the desk. I watched my virtualized figure disintegrate on the computer screen, with a very large and very bloody arrow sticking out of his chest. "I am an utter failure." I said, and I dropped my head into my arms. Rikki was having similar difficulties across the room from me. A shout of rage confirmed my hypothesis.

I stood and walked over to her. "Just as unlucky?" I asked and she nodded.

"I swear, these missions are rigged." She said and drew an angry breath.

I laughed wryly. "Yeah, probably, but they were only created to help us learn." I pulled up a chair and sat down next to her.

"Yeah. To learn how to write a death wish." Rikki grumbled. I couldn't suppress a smile.

"I absolutely hate these missions," I said. "And trust me, I don't know how they're going to help us, but I think they will." As I said the words, the door at the front of the room opened suddenly and Jamal, the commander of our cyber mission, walked briskly into the room.

"Kailey! What are you doing over there? Get back to your computer. We have a lot to do." He seemed angry, and I wasn't about to upset him, so I hurried back to my seat. "Girls," Jamal continued. "Please go to the home screen of your computers and open up the blank file at the bottom of the screen." We did so, and awaited more instructions.

"Next, go to the database named 'code-5'," He nearly whispered it as we located and clicked on the database. "Now, I want you girls to read it over and then do what it tells you to do. This will help you learn how to create several different bugs to help you and your sisters on future missions." Then, he said more to himself than us, "This will tear Nanny McFiggins and MON apart."

Rikki and I read through the database, which took us about 2-3 hours because it was so long. The introduction started off with a 'Welcome to database Code-5. Please read below with care.' The next paragraph read:

The following information will guide the reader through the steps to create and put-into-action any kind of electrical bug. Continue to refer back to the table of contents when searching for different instructions. As you read, begin to build...

I didn't realize I was falling asleep until a large plastic box landed heavily on the desk in front of me. I sat up quickly and rubbed my eyes. "What... sorry. I..." I looked down at the box and inwardly groaned. I knew what was in it before Jamal even told me.

"This is a box full of mixed electrical parts. Put them together, and you'll get a bug. Off you go." With that, he stalked off. I looked over at Rikki and saw that she had a plastic box equal to the size of mine planted in front of her. Her hair was tied back and I could see she was working hard. She turned her head and returned my gaze. I smiled at her and she smiled back, but I could tell that she was tired too. How long had we been in this room? I looked around the room and realized there was not a single clock. I turned back to face Rikki and pointed at my wrist in question. She shrugged and turned back to her work. I sighed and did the same.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Day 4:
After a couple days, I had finally finished my first bug. Even though I had had to tear it apart several times to switch a wrong part, or fix a cord that wasn't in the right place, it still looked reasonably good. I was very proud of my little contraption. Until I showed it to Jamal.

"What is that thing?" He said when I showed him my bug.

"It's a bug. Actually it's bug number 87. See?" I scrolled all the way to bug number 87 instructions on my computer screen.

"That is definitely NOT bug number 87," Jamal said, staring down at my bug and then looking at the picture on the screen. "If anything, it's bug number -87. It's completely the opposite of the bug you were trying to create." As he said it, Rikki snorted very loud, and tried to make the ugly laugh sound like a cough. It didn't work and I vowed to get her back someday.

"Oh. Right." It was all I could do not to punch Jamal in the face. I took the bug back.

"You'll have to start from scratch. These bugs need to be perfect!" Jamal called as he walked over to Rikki and began to examine her bug. "Rikki, this bug is... horrendous. It looks dead." I snuck in a laugh just as ugly as Rikki's had been before. "You need to start from scratch as well. Come on, girls. You can do better."  Jamal spun on his heel and walked through the door.

Now, I must continue working on my new bug number 87.

Until next time,
                        Kailey

Bonjour mon Ennemi (Hello my Enemy) -Bailey

What kind of name is Cassondria? My face contorted to show how I felt about the strange name.
"Although you may be thinking the names are... different, look them up and I think you can piece together the rest", Uncle Callan hinted as he winked. Alex and I walked to the nearest computer and looked up our unique alias'. Apparently, her "name" means charming. Mine means sly and deceptive. Alex and I quickly came to conclusion that we were considered the charming and deceptive team. Thank goodness for my little acting career in middle school. However, what worried me the most was if I could possibly look like I'm 20. I hardly look 14 1/2. this is not was a 14 year old should be worrying about. I should be fussing over a boy from school, not trying to defeat a U.S. threat for the CIA. But then again, when else will I get an opportunity like this? Profiter de l'instant, they say. I forgot to mention, Cassondria and Charessa can speak french! As a result, I am struggling to learn the language. thank you, google translate. Alex was blessed in high school to have the chance to take french class and visit Paris, France. after lessons she will be able to tutor me with the basics. However, Alex cannot speak the entire language like a professional. We are both struggling to keep up, me more than her. Alex and I have been discussing what we are guessing our objective will be. So far, we've come up with some pretty radical ideas. We will find out tomorrow and I'm worried that I won't be able to follow through.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
        Day 9:

Alex and I held each others hand as we walked into the debriefing room. "Welcome girls. Please take a seat wherever you please. Now, right down to business. You two brave young ladies will be standing in the front lines. For 6 months you will be stationed at the same extravagant hotel as the two and only Nanny McFiggins and MON. The first assignment on that mission will be a dinner party an old friend of MON's is hosting. You two will obviously attending. Even conversing with your parents captors. This will require complete control on your part. A plus to this tricky assignment is that you will not be alone. First, you will have each other. Second, you will have us. We will be online with you through wireless microphones and earpieces. You'll be assigned code names later. Third, we are assigning two of our new boys to help. Their names are Nick (14) and Clark (15). They too are dealing with someone in that same hotel who used to be a colleague of MON's and Nanny McFiggins. However, they have different objectives. They will still be around to help, and I expect you to help them too. Your first assignment is to attend a dinner party. While there I expect you to interact with your enemies and gain their trust as much as you can. MON carries a key in his coat pocket at all times. When you meet him, hug him and pull it out. Talk for a while and then I want one of you to excuse yourself to go to your room to get something. Your room will be on the same floor as theirs. Go into their room and use a flashdrive to get onto their computer which we've pre-hacked into. Use this flash-drive to download all the files on their computer and then go back downstairs, slip the key back in his pocket and then leave saying that you are ready for bed. You got it", Uncle Callan asked. Alex and I nodded. We were dismissed and quickly left the room contemplating what we would go through on the mission.

It's All Greek To Me-Alex

Just so you're aware, you've been receiving a very(!) condensed version of things. Here's mine:

After a week of relaxing together and putting off all training, my sisters, our parents, our team, and I began prepping for our missions, which meant the start of the POVABAC program for me and my sisters. The idea was that we would take on different identities for each mission. Each mission would take a while. Well, besides Rikki and Kailey's. That was like a starter mission. These missions will eventually take months-or even a year. So to be able to play it all off as a different person was vital

Bailey and I had a month to study our characters before learning about our mission. Our team, who was under the command of our uncle Callan, would be researching and planning, and then teach us the material when the time came. The only thing we knew about our mission was what Uncle Callan hinted at as we entered the POVABAC quarters on day one: "There's a reason we chose the family's two actors for the mission," he said. "With the proper training, we felt that you two would be the best for the job." This definitely got the two of us excited. And on that note, we began our training.

Weapons classes, language classes, character study lessons-all these and more made us two very busy girls as we prepared to enter into the real world with fake identities. It was incredibly exhilarating. We were officially spies in training.

A week into our training, our uncle Callan interrupted our training with news that made our stomachs drop out of both fear and excitement.

"There's a reason we need experienced actors for this mission" he said to us. "You two will be meeting the Winthrops face-to-face in order to get on the inside. This will be no easy task. But we know it's nothing you can't do."

My face turned pale. Those were the people that tore me and my family apart, and now I had to look them in the eyes and pretend to be their friend? No easy task indeed! I could name millions of things I'd rather do! But Uncle Callan's eyes were calm and set. This really was going to happen. I couldn't think of a reason why this was the best option, but I trusted my experienced elder.

"Alright," I finally said after a few moments of though. Bailey agreed to the plan as well. She had always been more confident in her ability to act than I had ever been in mine. But there was no backing out now.

"Fantastic!" exclaimed Callan. "In that case, ladies, I would like to introduce you to your future selves." He waved photographs of two very pretty, very...Greek-looking? 20-something-year-old spies in front of our faces. "Alex, meet Charessa. Bailey, this is Cassondria. You will be getting to know this pair very well in the weeks to follow."

And so it began.

xoxo, Alex

A Mission of a Different Kind

Sitting at the table, I looked around me and smiled. I was surrounded by my favorite people: My sisters and my parents. The table in front of me was stacked with food of all shapes and colors. There was sea food, Chinese, Mexican, Japanese, and Italian! When everyone was finished eating, we walked out of the diner and got back into the many cars that brought us here.

As soon as we reached headquarters, guards helped each of us out of the car. Then, they lead us in teams through the door. I went with Rikki. Our guard brought us to a long flight of stairs that seemed to go on forever. "At the end of the stairway, you will find another set of guards. They will take you to Jamal, who will tell you about your computer mission." With that, he sent us on our way.

The stairs did go on forever! Or it seemed like it. We had been walking for about 15 minutes and there were no signs that we were anywhere near the bottom. "Rikki?" I asked.

"Yeah?" Her voice was full of concern.

"Why are we going on another mission? I mean, we just finished one. It was our first, but are they really going to make us go out again?"I was worried and starting to babble.

"Kailey, I really don't know why they're sending us out again, or what we are going to have to do, but I do know one thing," She stopped walking and turned to face me. She grabbed both of my hands and looked into my eyes. "We will always be together, no matter how far apart we may seem. I hope you know that." She smiled at me and we kept walking.

After what seemed like hours, we finally reached the bottom. As the guard above said, two guards were waiting to take us to Jamal. The guards led us to two oak doors and opened them. "Jamal is waiting for you." The brown haired one said. We entered and the first thing we noticed was the giant deer head at the back of the room.

"That's a little intimidating." Rikki whispered into my ear.

I had to hold back a gasp when I saw all the computers lined up on the walls. If only Hailey were here, I thought. She would be having a blast just looking at them.

We continued to walk across the room and finally came to a wooden table. A darker man was sitting at the end of the table, with his head down. Rikki and I pulled out two chairs and quietly sat down. He heard us and his head rose with a jolt. "Oh!" He exclaimed. "You're here." He stood and brushed off his suit.

"Um, yeah," Rikki muttered with a twinge of annoyance in her voice. "You must be Jamal?"

"Oh, where are my manners? I am Jamal O'Brian. Pleased to meet you." He thrust out his hand and Rikki and I shook it.

"I'm Rikki."

"I'm Kailey."

"Welcome, girls, to my workshop!" He held out his hands as if his was waiting for dramatic music to play around them.

Rikki looked at him like he was crazy. "Right. Well, the guard upstairs told us that you had another mission for us?"

"Oh, yes." Jamal turned around and grabbed a stack of papers. "I need you girls to take this paper back upstairs. That's your mission!" He smiled at us and went back to sleeping.

Rikki growled under her breath. "We did not just walk down here for you to tell us that our 'mission' is to deliver a stack of stupid papers!!!" She screamed with rage and jumped at him. I quickly grabbed hold of her arms to hold her back.

"Rikki!" I yelled at her. "We need to remain calm and sort all of this out. Jamal, are you sure that is our only mission?" I asked him rather quickly because it was getting tiring hold Rikki back like this.

"That, my girls, was a test." He stood and looked right at us. "Which you passed with flying colors! You see, I wanted to know if you girls would react to having such a lowly mission, or if you were lazy enough to go along with it. You girls both proved that you are ready for the mission I am about to send you on." He sat back in his chair and motion for us to be seated.

As soon as we sat down, three computers appeared on the table. They were sleek and black. "You girls will be programming several different bugs and databases to do different things. This will help your sisters greatly. I know that both of you are not much for computers or programming, but all your other sisters are doing their own missions."

We examined the computers and thought hard. "Should we do this?" Rikki murmured to me.

"I think it's the best option we have right now." I whispered back.

"Alright, girls. Are you ready to begin this mission?" Jamal asked both with his voice and his eyes.

"We are ready." Both of us said out loud.

"Ok. You may begin."

With that, we dove into an unknown cyber world.

What A Party -Rikki

I had no idea what was really going on. I somehow feel like this is just one weird dream. I can't believe I am now some sort of secret agent, and going on missions. I mean, I've always dreamed of it, but not in this way. This is... way too personal, and all coming at us way too fast.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kailey and I went to go find Lucas. Who was he, what is his job?
  "Hey Rikki?" Kailey asked.
"Yeah?" I said, Kailey pulling me back to reality.
"Is that Lucas' office at the end of this hallway?"
"Well, it says his name on it so..."
I opened the door and took a step in, Kailey following close behind.

"Hello Rikki, Kailey. My name is Lucas, and I will be the one giving you your alias' and what you are to do. I hope this doesn't scare you too much, and I hope this won't overwhelm you, but it's normal. Most kids that do this kind of stuff, which is very limited, get huge nerves. So don't worry."
"Why would we be scared? C'mon, we've been through more than you can imagine." I say, maybe a little more rude than I mean to be.
"Actually, we know what you guys went through. We have been keeping our eyes on Diana and Igpae, or McFiggins and MON. We know what they have done to you, and we were trying to do everything we could to get you out of their hands. We sent agents after you, the hair and stylist lady when you guys were fighting in the arena, Keeli, and others that you might recognize walking around here."
Kailey and I stood there in shock. Not knowing what to say or think. This whole time, the CIA knew that Nanny McFiggins and MON were "keeping our parents", and were after us.
"Anyways," Lucas says, "You two are going to go to one of Diana's and Marc's source plants in Moscow. They are hosting a dinner party tomorrow night, and you will sneak out of the party and place the bugs in a room in a basement. We will give each of you an ear piece, and you will be guided to the computers. Kailey, you will go in as a caterer."
 "Got it." Kailey said.
"Rikki, you will be a guest at the party. Just make sure that Igpae and Diana don't see either of you faces. We will try to disguise you as much as possible, and make you look older."
 "Sounds fun." I respond.
"You're going to catch a flight tomorrow, and then there will be a cab with a driver in front holding the name 'Danobi'. You are to get in the cab, and he will take you to the party. Any questions?"
"Umm yes," Kailey said. "Where do we get our disguises?"
 "The cab driver."
 "Okay, thanks."
"One more question," I said. "What if we get caught? How are we going to get out?"
"The same cab will be a quarter mile away at an old diner. You will pass it on the way to the party, and he will point it out. If you get caught, we will send our best agents to get you back out. But don't worry. I am very confident in all you girls, and I know that they will be stopped."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Later that night, Kailey and I slept in the same room, and discussed our mission.
"Rikki? Do you really think this will work? I mean, MON and Nanny McFiggins will surely recognize us, and they will kill us. I know it."
"I.... I know. I guess we will have to be extremely careful, and extremely brave."
"Easy for you to say," Kailey said, hiding her face from me. "I'm always the weak one."
"What?" I shout, astonished that she would say that she was weak. "All of us older siblings look up to you! You are so aggressive and brave even though you are so young. Most girls your age worry over breaking their nails or what new phone they should get. But you, you are fighting for the greater good of man, and none of them have ever felt and endured pain like you, or any of us. And that, Kailey, is why you are so special and amazing."
I looked at Kailey for any sign of doubt, but she just slowly moves in and gives me a hug. I usually hate being hugged, or touched for that matter, but I also needed this.
       And slowly, we fell asleep.

We woke up to the sound of knocking on the door. I jumped up out of instinct, ready to fight. But in walked Lucas, along with my dad.
Kailey got up and went to hug my dad. I smiled at him and he gave me a hug too.
"Girls" he said. "I want you to be very, very smart. You've been a piece in their game, and now we need the tables to turn. They need to be in our game, and we need to take them out. It is crucial that this mission is a success. We will have access to all their facilities, and we will know what some of their plans are that we can stop. We need this. You girls need this."
"Yes sir." I said, my stomach getting anxious. They need to be beat.
I turn to Kailey, she looks ready to be victorious.

Before we leave on our flight, us six sister sit around a table.
"Well, I feel somewhat apprehensive about being apart of the first mission," I say to my sisters.
"I am just relieved to know that we actually have a plan to take down MON and Nanny McFiggins.  We've just been taking the hits as the come, and now imagine how incredible we will be with a plan that can work." Hailey said with a little smirk on her face.
"Just don't do anything stupid," replied Carter. I could tell she was worried. Her eyes moved restlessly across the room.
"This is kinda fun! I mean, being able to do things in secret and with our parents. Yes, we can get hurt or worse, but we've made it this far, and we are the strongest group of people this world has ever seen!" Whooped Bailey.
"I agree. We've have been through years of living nightmares, and now, it's over. And imagine once they are officially defeated. We can go back to our house with our parents, and I know things will never be the same, but at least we will all be together safely and that's all that matters. We will be one big happy family." Alex smiled at the last words she said.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kailey and I boarded the plane. We were both dead silent. I wasn't scared of the job that was needed to be done, I was afraid that MON and nanny McFiggins would take me away from my sisters, or that Kailey would get hurt.

I looked at Kailey as the plane took off. She gave me a short smile.
"We will be fine, don't worry! If you get into trouble, I'll be right there. Just make sure that I can always see you, no matter what. When we go put the bugs in the computers, I'll stand up and pretend that I am going to the bathroom. Got it?"
"Got it. I just don't want MON and nanny McFiggins to recognize me. Or you. And I definitely don't want them to find out where our sisters and parents our."
"They will never crack us. And if it were Carter, Alex, Hailey, or Bailey, they would never tell where we are."
"I know..."
"It's okay, let's just rest. We've got a big night ahead of us," I say while closing my eyes.
I think to myself, what if this is all fake? What if this is one of MON's crazy plans? If it is, what do I do? And with that, I fell asleep.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kailey and I woke to the city lights of Moscow.

Once the plane landed, we sped walked through the airport and found our cab. We climbed in, and quickly put on our disguises. Kailey wore are a simple black dress that she would walk around handing food and drinks in, and I wore an elegant red dress that definitely was not me at all.
"Kailey, I am going to throw up on this dress and these black heels."
"NO! They are so beautiful! You are going to look great!"
"I am going to look utterly ridiculous and awkward! I will not wear it."
"Yes you are! C'mon Rikki, it's just for this one time!"
"I know. Just don't tell another living soul that I wore this."

We passed the old diner, and then we arrived at the party. As we were walking in, I caught a glimpse of myself in the glass door. The person staring back was definitely not me. The make-up job was excellent, and I could easily look 10 years older than I really am. Kailey definitely looked older too. I hope people really believe that she is catering.

The inside of the hall was astonishing. It was huge. Way bigger than I imagined. And, across the room, I spotted the one and only MON, plus his lady sidekick, nanny McFiggins. I nudged Kailey in that direction, and she tensed up. Then, we split up in two separate directions, and she grabbed a platter of food and I talked to one of the guards attending the party.
"Hello, I am Ms. Danobi. And you are?" I asked in my most polite lady voice.
"General Poviwzach. Nice to meet you." The general said in a thick Russian accent, just as my watch vibrates telling me that the cameras have been turned off.
"And you. If you will excuse me, I need to go to the lady's room." I smile, slipping away.
I make eye contact with Kailey and I head towards the door. My feet are moving as fast as possible without causing suspicions. And when I am about to exist the room I make eye contact with him. I tense, and give a small smile hoping he wouldn't notice me. He hesitates before raising his glass and nods his head in my direction. I breathe out in relief, and touch Kaileys shoulder before taking off my heels so I can move faster. We only have a 20 minute window before the cameras turn back on.
We take the nearest stairwell and literally jump 10 steps at a time. Once we are at the bottom of the stairs and open the door, 4 guards are there checking out the cameras.
"Ey ! Chto ty zdes' delayesh' ? They yell at us in Russian, which I clearly do not understand.
"I am so sorry sirs, we do not understand Russian, and we are lost," said Kailey sweetly, giving them a flirty smile.
"Vam luchshe vernut'sya k partii prezhde..." I then punch one of them as Kailey kicks one in the leg sweeping him off his feet. As they are getting up, Kailey flips the third one to the ground, and I jump kick the fourth causing him to hit against the wall. They are definitely unconscious. But the first and second get up. And the first one alerts the other guards at the party before Kailey nails him in the head with her shoe, and I nail the other in the head with my back which holds my gun.
After that, Lucas contacts us through our ear pieces.
"The door is at the end of that hall. It should be straight ahead. Hurry! You guys only have about 12 more minutes."
Before he even finished, Kailey and I were sprinting towards the door. We opened it an saw six computers. I pulled six bugs out of my bag, and handed 3 to Kailey. And we started plugging them in left and right.
"That's it!" I shouted, starting towards the door.
"Let's go fast, I don't want to run into any more guards."
We bolted out the door, and down the hallway was 8 more guards, and nanny McFiggins.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Oh crap," I mutter under my breath.
   "What do we do?"
I ran forward, and Kailey followed behind me. Before we got to them, I pulled out my gun, and shot the lights that were above them. While they were distracted with the falling lights and sparks, Kailey and broke through them and shot out the lights along the way.
We got to the stair door, and started leaping up the stairs.
As we were running, Lucas' voice came on in our ear pieces.
"Did you guys shoot anyone?"
"No, I shot the roof above the guards to distract them" I said, in between deep breaths.
"Well, good job girls, we are getting the feed from the computers right this moment. But the cameras turn on in two minutes, so you better be close."
"What? Two minutes? Rikki, can we make that?" Kailey asked, nearly out of breath.
"I don't know, just keep running!"
We then reach the top of the stairs.
"Yes!" Kailey squeals.
"Walk casually to the bathroom, and pretend like you are walking out."
When we get in the bathroom, my watch vibrates and let's us know that the camera's are back on. We quickly fix our hair, put on our shoes, adjust or dresses and bags, and walk out of the bathroom. I give a small laugh, and Kailey joins in. We laugh all the way to the old diner.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Good job girls," Lucas says, as my mom, dad, and sisters walk in. We all join together in a group hug.
"Our first ever mission is complete!" Our dad says, grinning from ear to ear.
"Let's celebrate!" Shouts Carter and our mom at the same time.
"Well, don't make it a long celebration. We have another mission to complete. It's another facility that we need information from. We have assigned this one to Alex and Bailey. Don't worry girls, not on the missions are going to be two and two, but these ones need to be in order to be able to practice staying under cover. When your in a bigger group, that's hard to do. But the dream team will unite again." Lucas says, interrupting our happiness.

And with that, we went to go spend time with each other. Talking, eating, laughing, and singing. Just like we used to.

The POVABAC Program and Other Things, Including a Family Reunion of an Unforeseen Kind--Love, Alex

Sorry about the break. Life's been a little crazy lately. Not like that's unusual for us. Not anymore.

I walked out my chambers feeling the most refreshed I had felt in years. Another sweet lady led me through a fascinating labyrinth of long, bright corridors, finally stopping in front of a great oak door. "You best be on your way, love," she said as she squeezed my hand, "Your family is awaiting you." She smiled cheerily and disappeared around the bend at the end of the corridor, her white hair flouncing around her like a halo. I returned a belated grin and didn't hesitate before swinging open the door. Inside was my perfect little family, together again. It hadn't been long since we had last been together, but the setting of this gathering contrasted greatly from the dungeon we had been united in before. The walls shown like pearl and light poured from the crystal chandelier like pure sunshine. Smiles gleamed from the faces of my family members. We were once again clean and, at last, together for good. Or so we hoped.

Now I must take a few steps back from our last post. As mentioned earlier, our mother explained what was going on. Many embraces and laughs later, a guard entered and bid us to follow him. As we traipsed down a new corridor together, I noticed something about our dazzling haven: the lack of windows. The place gleamed as if it were the sun itself, yet there was no place for sunlight to enter. While this small detail would have alarmed me in earlier times, the peace that seemed to emanate through the walls kept me calm. We finally entered through another oak door, which led to another, which brought us to our final destination: a small office. It's decor was clean and uncomplicated, but the owner was not plain or boring at all-in fact, he was somehow familiar.

"Tim, Sara," said the man. "It is so good to see you!"
To the surprise of me and my sisters, he rushed forward and embraced our parents.
"Callan! We cannot thank you enough for everything you have done for us," said my mother, smiling at the tall stranger. He wasn't very old; judging by the hint of gray in his golden hair and the minuscule wrinkles forming around his green eyes, he could only be a year or two older than my dad. Then again, the past months of separation had aged my father greatly, so perhaps using my dad to deduce one's age wouldn't have made for the most accurate results.

"Girls," spoke my father, turning to face us, "I would like you to meet your uncle Callan."

The word "uncle" echoed through my mind as my eyes widened and blinked in surprise. This man didn't look anything like my dark-haired parents, and surely we would have heard about him sooner had he been blood-related. My mother quickly filled us all in.

"Callan is married to Alice," explained my dear mother. My eyes widened further. This just didn't make sense! But after a minute, it did. It was true, we had never met aunt Alice's husband; they were married when I was so little I had no recollection of the wedding, and whenever we were with Aunt Alice, he was "working abroad." This information, although surprising, began to make perfect sense. Carter was the first to run up and hug this seemingly-new relative; something in the way she looked at him during the first moments in the office told me his appearance rang a bell. One by one, we joined the embrace. My parents stood by and smiled.

Soon we all took a seat in the 8 chairs that sat before his desk. Sure enough, there were framed pictures of my young cousins before us. I smiled. I already felt like I had known my uncle forever.

"I'm so happy to see you all," said uncle Callan with a grin. "But alas, it is time we move on to less-enjoyable matters. I assume you guys know the backstory to all of this?"
We nodded, remembering our mother's explanations in our meeting room earlier today.
"Well, I know how much you guys want to be done with all of this. I completely agree if you decline. However, your parents and I agree that you would be the best for the job. Before you protest, let me explain:

Diana McFiggins Winthrop and Marc A. Winthrop, aka Nanny McFiggins and M.O.N., have been after your parents' invention for years and years now. While there was a time when we thought the contraption was safe and so were your parents, it has become evident that this is not the case; the two are still desperate to get their hands on the invention, and have obviously been trying to use your girls to get through to it. We need to stomp their mission dead before we can truly breathe easy again. The Winthrops-yes, they are indeed married-work alone, fortunately, and rarely use outside forces, so it will be rather easy to get the two of them. However, there's more to it. They have other inventions used mainly to destroy, as well as well-hidden plans to get to the invention. We need to target and destroy the weapons and plans, as well as lock up the Winthrops, before our mission is complete. Unfortunately, these two are very secretive, which is why we feel you six would be the best for the job, as you are more familiar with them and their techniques than any of our secret services are. Should you choose to accept this mission, we will be dividing you up into pairs and sending each pair, as well as a small back-up team, to each of the three targets. I know it's not much information to go off of but please- say you'll accept?"

I was rather shocked and a little angry. Everything had been going so well!! We were finally together and now this stranger wanted to rip us apart again! And our parents supported him-what was this??!

The sound of a chair hitting the ground shook me from my thoughts. Carter stood standing, firm and tall and reliable, staring Callan down quizzically. After a moment of silent analysis, she gave her answer.

"Yes. A million times yes."

Carter! I thought. Are you crazy? Are you trying to get us killed?! However, Carter wasn't alone. Hailee and Bailey stood up with her and pledged their allegiance. I couldn't believe it. Soon, Rikki joined them. After more thought, I gave in. He was right-we would never be able to breathe easy until we stopped the Winthrops for good. I stood up. A few moments later, Kailey rose. It was official. Our new adventure had begun.

Our parents smiled, although they were teary-eyed. Looking back on it, it had to have been the hardest on them. Fortunately, they were to join in with the back-up and research teams. Uncle Callan breathed a sigh of relief and stood up.

"Before we get started, you must go through the Protect our Victims and Bystanders and Children program, also known as the POVABAC program. It's basically a Witness Protection Program upgrade for secret scientists-call it what you like. You girls will need to take on new identities and habits. After these past few years, it is likely the Winthrops will know you better than you may like to think. Shall we begin?"

Keeli will be joining us.

Our Secret Mission. Love, Kailey

You've heard the story from Bailey and Alex, but I wanted to tell you mine.

When Rikki and I walked into the room that Keeli was in, I was ready to fight. But I didn't have to. The guards untied her and walked her out. When they came back, Rikki and I were put in another cell, and we soon fell asleep...

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

About five hours later, I woke up. I looked to the right and left, but Rikki wasn't by me. In fact, I couldn't find her at all. Then I realized I wasn't even in my cell anymore. I was in what looked like a tent and a nice looking lady was washing my clothes. I sat up and looked around.

The tent had a nice smell to it. It smelled almost like home. The nice lady turned and saw me. "Oh! You're awake child." She smiled at me and helped me stand. Then she grabbed a soft white robe and slipped it around my shoulders. My eyelids fluttered, but she shook me and told me I couldn't fall asleep yet. "My name is Agatha," She said with a smile. "I'm going to dress you up good! Your'e family won't know who ya' are!" She took my hand and led me over to the closet. I grabbed a pink t-shirt and some denim jeans. Then I noticed the vanity.

"Oh!" I gasped and I nearly leaped into the chair. After about ten minutes, I had finished applying lipstick, eyeshadow, and eyeliner. I looked in the mirror and admired my makeup job. I still had the magic touch! Then I went over to the full sized mirror and examined my body. I had changed almost entirely. My slightly plump waistline had become almost stick-like and my round cheeks had a dent in them. My arms were rough and contained a lot more muscle and dry skin than I was used to. My hair was pulled back into a pony tail and was slightly curled. Pearl studs decorated my ears.

I turned to look at Agatha. "I'm ready to see my family." I said. She smiled and led me through the curtain door.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The guards took my hand and Rikki's. We were supposed to be going on a mission to "botch Nanny Mcfiggin's plans." (Her name is actually Diana) Rikki and I followed the guards down a long staircase.

"What do you think our mission is?" Rikki whispered to me.

"I don't know, maybe we'll have to kick someone in the face," I kicked my leg. "Or punch someone in the stomach." I punched the air in front of me.

Rikki giggled. "How about you try not to take out the guards that are going to tell us first!"

I laughed. It felt good to laugh with my sister again.

We reached the end of the staircase and the guards led us into a room. "Please sit down girls." One guard gestured to the chairs. We sat. "My name is Jackson and I will help you with your debriefing," He said with a small mischievous smile. "You will be completely destroying the foundation of Diana's plan using weapons and stealth. Think you can manage?" He brought out a map of the entire building. "Here," He said, pointing to a dot on the map. "You both will sneak over there and a man will be waiting for you. His name is Lucas. He will start you on your mission. Here you go." He handed me and Rikki some pistols and small metallic contraptions shaped in a domed circle. "I trust that you both know how to use a gun?"

"Sort of." We both said.

"Good enough," He sighed. " Only use the pistols when absolutely necessary, and the small round things are called bugs. You will both put one on the computers that are running the whole operation. One each. No more, no less. Understood?" He put the map away. Then he gave us a few more things like some rope and several extra bullets.

"Well that was short." Rikki whispered to me.

"You both need to be very careful. If you are caught, the whole plan will be completely ruined." The guard said. "Also, if you need anything, remember to use your bracelets." He pointed to the metal chains of precious antidote on our wrists. "They're there for a reason."

With that final piece of advice jumping around in our minds, he sent us off without another word.

We're off to find Lucas. Wish us luck!!!

A New Chapter- Love, Bailey

The last memory before I fell asleep was 2 guards dragging me to my cell. They both looked at me and told me I was going to be okay. As confused as I was, I went right to sleep. I would take all the rest time I could. I woke up who knows how long later, to the sounds of my guards unlocking my cell door. "Hi Bailey-Alice, I'm Chinko and this is Rodney. You're safe now." I gasped. I didn't understand... where was I? More importantly, where was my family?
"Bailey, we're going to take you to Pedra. She'll clean you up and get you ready for your debriefing", Rodney said calmly. Thousands of questions filtered through my mind. How safe was I really?
 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pedra was a very rotund, kind-looking woman. Her assistants also seemed trustworthy. They washed me clean of a year's worth of dirt and grime. the hot water felt fantastic on my dry skin. As soon as it was over, I reluctantly got out. "Ok's honey, I's abou' to show you's a mighty fine closet of yo' new clothes," Pedra whispered. I didn't even hesitate as she led me to a white door. In slow motion, Pedra opened the door. I promise you I almost passed out. For my first outfit, I chose a deep purple (oh-so-soft) sweater, light wash skinny jeans, and some slightly beat up converse. Oh my gosh, I realized, these are my old clothes!!! I pulled the sleeve to my face and inhaled the scent of my old house.
"C'mon girly, let's hurry on now. You have people waiting". Before I left, Pedra told me she wanted me to look at myself. To see how I'd changed. I walked to the full length mirror, not prepared for what I saw.
My hair had lighted about 2 shades from all the sun. My muscle amount had increased greatly. My skin had darkened to a nice tan. Then I took a good look at my face. Ugh, I sported dark circles, 2 bruises, and a couple of cuts. Yay, I love looking like a criminal. Luckily, my hair hadn't lost its waviness. The super long tresses had been cut by Pedra and they now reached my mid-back. I couldn't help but be excited to see my sisters after they had been groomed.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My 2 guards led me to a tall oak door. before we walked in, 3 boys that looked about Hailey, Kailey, and I's age walked past. They were absolutely filthy and looked exhausted. Changing my mindset, I thought about my family behind those doors. Taking a deep breath, I walked in. There sat all my sisters except Alex, and my parents. I ran into their gentle embrace. We all turned as we heard the door creak open and saw Alex walk through. She joined our family group hug. We sat like that for about 10 minutes until finally, Carter spoke up and asked, "Why exactly do Nanny McFiggins and MON hate you?"
"Are you sure your ready," Mom asked.
"Yes," we all answered in unison.
 Here's the story...
The CIA called in Sara Clarence and Tim Dachmen, 2 professional scientists. Someone had stolen a lethal weapon called the Gemminizer. The weapon has a pointed needle at the front and when you put the needle in someone, it injects the deadliest of germs. These people were using it to kill off world leaders. Sara and Tim were being used to create a duplicate. However, while they were working they managed to do the opposite. They created a way to have the needle drain you of  germs. It won't work if you're already dead, though. As they created that, they secretly progressed with another discovery. This weapon could drain all infection and basically make you indestructable. There was a leak in the CIA and somehow rival scientists found out. Out of all of them, only 2 pursued the weapon. Nanny McFiggins and MON. Or as everyone else knows them, Diana and Marc. At the time, our parents did not know it was them. They received phone calls with strange voices, telling them to give them the weapon. After threats arrived, Sara and Tim ran away. They had fallen in love over the last year and decided to get married after getting to safety. 1 year later, Carter was born. Every year a new child was created. When my parents had left, they took the liquid weapon with them. For every girls eighth birthday, Sara and Tim manufactured a bracelet with one charm to match that girls personality. Inside the charms, Sara and Tim placed part of the weapon until none was left. Nanny McFiggins and MON took Tim and Sara and tried to make them give them the recipe. Sara and Tim refused. During that time is when their loyal children came for them. Now that they have, MON and Nanny McFiggins are going to try to extract the liquid from old experiments and duplicate it.
Wowwww. This is why the whole thing started... My whole life was pretty much destroyed because of that. Just then, 5 men came in and told us it was time for a debriefing. He asked Kailey and Rikki to come with him. Then he would tell them their mission. Rikki and Kailey were escorted out.  "What's this about a mission," asked Alex.
"Because you know so much about your parents captors, you girls will go undercover on missions to botch their plans. You all will get alias's and disguises. We will debrief you on your job and then send you off," replied one of the officers
 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now it's time to start a new chapter. A new beginning. Meet new people, meet some old friends also. All I know is, times are changing. Finally, for the better.
